Wilson-Covington completed the interior and exterior upfit of this two-story building in Winston-Salem, NC for a medical office and laboratory space. Work included the addition of an elevator to serve the upper floor and extensive facade improvements along with new interior layout and all finishes.
Wilson-Covington celebrates its 70th year in business this year and we find that many in the community do not have a full understanding of the firm’s capabilities.

Wilson-Covington is nearing completion on the Drs. Handy & Handy Orthodontists Office in Bermuda Run, NC.
The office is 7,500 square feet on two floors and features 7 patient chairs, consultation room, laboratory, imaging room, offices, staff lounge, storage, and restrooms. Wilson-Covington has worked extensively in the medical and dental fields and this project marks the most recent in a long collaboration between Wilson-Covington and Drs. Handy & Handy.
Wilson-Covington has been engaged to build a local “second-generation” project — a 7,500-square-foot office in Kinderton for Handy & Handy Orthodontic Specialists.
Clay V. Ring, Wilson-Covington’s president, was the project manager for the 1972 construction of Handy & Handy’s main office on Hawthorne Road, working with Dr. Thomas Handy. Executive Vice-President Hayes Wauford, who is Ring’s grandson, is now managing the Bermuda Run project, working in conjunction with Handy’s son, Dr. Gordon Handy. The office is scheduled for completion 2nd quarter 2014.
